Welcome to Newport Craft and Makers Market, located at our home venue - Cosy Hall, Newport. We provide a monthly craft and markers market supporting small businesses by giving them a retail platform to showcase their products in a prominent busy town centre venue.

Variety

Each of our markets are different - we're not about just selling tables, we focus on driving footfall with something fresh every time. Although we do have regulars, this is normally split on a 50% basis of repeat traders and fresh faces.

From seasonal products to crystals, street food, custom jewellery, turned wood, scents, artisan soaps, floristry, bakes, art, sewn goods, accessories - you're sure to find it at our markets.

Our Venue

We have a great relationship with Newport's fantastic community building, Cosy Hall. This is home to our events.

Split over 2 floors we fill our venue with a variety of traders to create a fantastic visitor experience.

We typically host between 35 and 40 stalls at each of our events.

About us

Newport Craft and Makers Market was established in 2023 by parent company Onyx Alliance Limited. As regular visitors to Craft and Makers markets as both sellers and visitors, we saw issues surrounding how events were organised and promoted. With a background in promotions, events and marketing we decided to launch our very own event in our home town of Newport, Shropshire. This was strongly supported by the community with over 1000 people attending our first ever event in May 2023. Since then, our events have attracted a great footfall which has meant we are now experiencing a huge application list for potential traders. With our relationships with businesses in the area, along with a drive to make the event successful for all traders, we've created an amazing event that is hugely supported by locals.

We focus on bringing something new to every event, giving the public a fresh event every time! Our traders must apply for a particular date - we then go through them to make sure they fit in with the brand we have created of QUALITY goods.
